Rev. Sarah Gonzalez, Pastor of Worship & Outreach
Sarah joined our staff at First Church as the Pastor of Worship & Outreach in July of 2004, after graduating from Olivet Nazarene University with a degree in Church Music. While at Olivet Sarah traveled with the Olivetians and Orpheus Choir.It is her desire to not only lead worship in corporate settings, but to teach by example what living a life of worship truely means.

What is your favorite way to spend a day off?
Spending time with family & friends, wondering aimlessly around the mall, sitting in Starbucks with a good cup of coffee and most importantly having no agenda!
Who has impacted your life the most?
For me that would be my family. My parents have been incredible models of what it truely means to live a life sold out for Christ. My brother has also been a wonderful mentor to me not only spiritually but professionally as he serves on staff at Valparaiso Church of the Nazarene. They have helped mold and shape me into the person I am today!

Bev joined our staff at First Church in 1997 and keeps this place up and running! She has been married to her husband Ron for 35 years. They have one son & daughter-in-law, Ryan and Amanda and are also the proud grandparents of Wesley, who is 4 years old and the newest addition to their family, Lilyan who joined them in January of this year!What's in your CD player (or iPod) right now?

What is your favorite way to spend a day off?
Spending time with my grandkids and sitting down with a good Christian book!
Who has impacted your life the most?
My parents for teaching me how to respect and love one another and my good, life-long friend Linda Burt, who has lived a good Christian example in front of me day in and day out!
